Description from the seller
Unique and original artwork hand-painted by Raphaël Monnet
Raphaël Monnet develops contemporary abstract painting in which color becomes matter, rhythm and movement.
He approaches the canvas as a space for experimentation. The painting is projected, accumulated and confronted with opposing colors. The impacts cross, certain areas densify while others allow the background to breathe.
His process does not rely on a pre-made image, but on a progressive construction. Each intervention leads to the next until an balance appears between apparent disorder and pictorial organization.
Based in the Léo Varek studio in France, Raphaël Monnet continues his research around projection and the superposition of colors. His works have an immediate presence at a distance and reveal, when you approach, a multitude of details, nuances and unexpected encounters between pigments.
Each canvas results from a unique process. The trajectory of projections, the distribution of matter and the interactions between colors can never be reproduced exactly.

Format and presentation
The indicated dimensions correspond to the total size of the canvas. A painted peripheral edge is intended to be folded over the sides of the frame, without encroaching on the main composition.
Some images show the work in situ to facilitate projection into an interior. They are made with the ArtStage visualization software that creates AI mockups. Proportions may vary slightly depending on the staging. Please refer to the dimensions given in the description to know the actual size of the work.
The edges are partially painted and allow for a clean finish after mounting.
Shipping
The work is shipped rolled in a rigid protective packaging, without a frame or stretcher.
Slight creases may appear on receipt. This is perfectly normal for a canvas shipped rolled. These marks naturally disappear when the canvas is mounted under tension.
For optimal results, it is recommended to have the canvas mounted on a frame by a local framer.
Deliveries are made by express carrier — DHL, FedEx or equivalent — with careful tracking until delivery.
Some destinations may incur additional shipping fees outside my control. In this case, the buyer will be informed before shipment to adjust the fees if necessary. Without approval of these fees, shipment cannot be made.
Additional information
Colors may vary slightly depending on screen settings and shooting conditions.
Frame and mount not included.
