This work in acrylic on canvas embraces the aesthetics of synthetic cubism and contemporary stained glass to portray the figure of a musician playing the guitar. Through a vibrant assembly of geometric planes bounded by clearly defined black outlines, the composition contrasts warm tones —reds, yellows and oranges— with cool blues and greens, achieving a remarkable chromatic balance and visual dynamism. The fragmentation of the face, the hat, and the figure of the instrumentalist evokes classical influences from the avant-gardes of the 20th century, incorporating background elements such as a flower vase and a window that enrich the intimate atmosphere of the space and reinforce the lyrical rhythm of the whole.
