Starter - Chronograph hand-wound men's watch from the 1950s with a gold-plated 34 mm case, moving lugs, champagne dial with two subdials, a long leather strap, and a manual Landeron chronograph movement, showing wear and patina.

AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Striking chronograph from the 1950s.

Gold-plated with visible wear traces... fading on the high parts is possible.

The remarkable thing about this sizeable men’s watch is that the lugs can move, so the very long case sits more comfortably on the wrist.
The diameter is 34 mm (excluding the crown or pushers); from lug tip to lug tip it is 50 mm!

Dial in dark champagne with two extra registers for the running seconds and the minutes.
In the original state... and thus some patina (specks / spots)... gold hands and a large red second hand.

The top pusher starts the chronograph (the large red second hand starts running... as does the minute hand); the bottom pusher stops the chrono, and pressing the bottom pusher again resets the chrono hands to 0).
The large crown rotates easily.
The crystal is still like new.

The Landeron movement runs nicely with a margin of +/- 25 seconds in 24 hours.

Black lightly worn leather strap, suitable for wrists up to 21 cm in circumference.

These old-fashioned chronographs are not designed to have the chronograph run continuously.
Running time and reliability are affected by this.

In short: a striking vintage chronograph... with extreme lugs and a well-running movement.
Not everyday and a real eye-catcher on any wrist.

2 months guarantee on the movement.

(glass, straps, crowns, pushers and extra features, such as the chronograph, are excluded).
