Description from the seller

Rare brooch “Peacock” Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy — Camrose & Kross.
Camrose & Kross is a authorized jewelry house to reproduce certain iconic jewels and ornaments that belonged to Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy, First Lady of the United States and one of the most famous figures in American history and 20th-century fashion.
Camrose & Kross LLC owns two jewelry brands: CAMROSE & KROSS and JBK (Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy). For more than two decades, this private house has created jewelry, watches and silverware pieces, notably inspired by Jacqueline Kennedy’s personal collection.
The JBK reproductions have been made with great fidelity to the original models, in their proportions, weight, and appearance as well as in their distinctive details. For their production, different materials have been used, including art glass, crystals, rhinestones and gold- or silver-plated metal alloys. Some pieces even reproduce the particularities present on the original models, such as patina or certain characteristic marks.
The “China” mark on the back of some pieces is perfectly normal: starting in the 1990s, part of the production was made in China, while maintaining the manufacturing standards of the JBK collection.
On the back of this brooch there is also the JBK hallmark.
These jewelry pieces are no longer produced today and the original molds have been destroyed, making items from the Jacqueline Kennedy collection particularly rare and sought after by collectors.
Magnificent and rare vintage Camrose & Kross reproduction of the famous Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy brooch “Peacock.”
This spectacular piece features a rhodium-plated butterfly adorned with Swarovski green and orange crystals. All crystals are present, without any missing, allowing the brooch to retain its original brilliance.
A refined and remarkable piece, ideal for a dressed occasion, but also particularly interesting as a collectible object.
