Gaetano Lete (XX-XXI) - San Francesco D’Assisi

The painting depicts Saint Francis of Assisi in an intense atmosphere of contemplation and spirituality.
The light, concentrated on the face and the habit, creates a strong contrast with the dark background typical of Baroque style, enhancing the figure.
The soft brushstrokes and warm tones give depth and realism to the composition.
The gaze and the expression of the Saint convey humility, faith, and deep devotion.
