European school (XIX) - Scena Campestre con Viandanti, Cavalli e Cane

Oil painting from a Romantic taste, depicting an evocative glimpse of rural life. The composition shows great narrative vivacity and a rich color palette:
In the center, a female figure in traditional dress rides a light-colored horse, accompanied by a man seen from behind who walks along the path with a staff and a hunting dog that leads the group. On the right, a second dark horse leans toward the ground.
The brushwork is thick and tactile, typical of nineteenth-century genre painting, capable of capturing the texture of fabrics, the coats of animals, and the surrounding nature.
