Alfons Proost (1880-1957) - Sneeuwlandschap

Very unique, large and early work (1907) by the well-known Belgian artist Alfons Proost (1880-1957)
Few works come from this period!

What is shown is a fine snowy landscape with trees beside a flowing body of water, very nicely captured.

The work was created in Sweden, dated 1907 (signed Sverige, meaning Sweden) where he during that period made a study trip and received lessons from, among others, the famous artist Anders Zorn.

A unique work for the collector of Alfons Proost.
