Description from the seller
Felipe Urrutia (1998)
Felipe Urrutia's artistic practice began at an early age, exploring Cubism and geometry, navigating through diverse styles until he consolidates a personal language that converges in neocubist abstraction and a strong focus on color study.
With a fresh and carefree brushstroke, Urrutia builds abstract landscapes that seem to emerge from an intermediate territory between the atmospheric and the emotional. In them, shapes and color are the protagonists; the layers of paint fuse and build a sense of atmosphere where color begins to speak for itself, while at the same time the forms accompany that same mystery with logics that dissolve and connect throughout his painting. Felipe believes in painting as a tool capable of condensing multiple realities at the same time, of capturing the visible and the invisible in a single gesture.
He has exhibited in various countries, including the United States, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain and Italy, consolidating a growing international trajectory.
His work is part of numerous private and public collections, and he continues developing a body of work that stands out for its authenticity, its sensitive perspective, and its commitment to exploring the human condition.
