Description from the seller
Hans-Jörg Glattfelder (1939) – Geometric Composition (1985)
Original gouache on paper by the Swiss artist Hans-Jörg Glattfelder (born 1939), an internationally recognised representative of geometric abstraction and optical art.
The composition features a geometric quadrilateral filled with radiating turquoise-green lines against a dark background, creating a striking optical effect of movement and spatial depth.
The artwork is characteristic of Glattfelder's exploration of geometry, perspective and visual perception.
A particularly interesting feature is the handwritten dedication on the reverse, signed by the artist and dated Stockholm, 13 October 1985.
The inscription documents a personal dedication by Glattfelder and provides an interesting connection to the artist's presence in Stockholm during that period.
