Description from the seller
Château Haut Nouchet - L'orangerie – AOP PESSAC LEOGNAN 2022 – 6 x 75 cl
Delivered in its original box
The vineyard covers 15 hectares. The vines sit on terroir made up of gravel, clay and limestone.
The blend consists of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 7% Petit Verdot, and 3% Cabernet Franc.
The harvest is carried out manually. A triple sorting is performed: in the vineyard, then before and after destemming. This selection aims to vinify only healthy, perfectly ripe fruit.
Vinification is overseen by Stéphane Derenoncourt. It starts in thermoregulated stainless steel tanks, followed by a 12-month élevage in oak barrels. The barrels are renewed at a rate of one third each year.
The wine presents an expression marked by red fruits, with a tannic structure and a certain softness on the palate.
Its aging potential is 12 to 15 years.
No shipments to Ireland or Norway and outside Europe, as parcels are systematically blocked by customs.
