Description from the seller
For sale: a unique and highly collectible piece of Italian art history. This beautiful, framed bronze relief shows a modernist, stylized depiction of two embracing figures. It was made by the renowned Italian sculptor Nino Beghelli from Bologna.
This specific object has a fascinating provenance. According to the original documentation on the reverse side, the bronze was cast on commission for the Circolo La Fattoria cultural center in Bologna. It is part of a very exclusive, numbered series of only 10 pieces.
