To accompany the work there is an authentication under the responsibility of Massimo Riposati with attached authentication by Ugo Attardi dated 27.04.1983 (refer to the photo of the document).
The work refers to the period from the mid-1950s to the late 1960s; these works belong to his expressionist and figurative phase, following the abstract experience of the Forma 1 group. In this period the Tiber became one of his most recurring iconographic subjects.
