Immersed in Japanese culture and ancient woodblock engraving techniques, ATO NAOKI reshapes the traditional print art (ukiyo-e) by incorporating the heroes of his generation. A significant part of his thinking is to anachronistically connect the ancient world with our present time until it makes sense. His works are now displayed in art galleries and enjoyed by many collectors in Europe and Asia.
