Large St. Louis crystal perfume bottle, Nelly Empire gilded model.

Nelly is a beautiful frosted model, gilded with fine gold in Empire-style motifs—palmettes and lambrequins.

A piece dating from the 1900s, it does not bear Saint Louis's signature, the crystal works having begun to apply its acid-etched hallmark in 1936. The profile is that of St Louis flacons, and the decoration with gilded palmettes appears several times in the 1908 catalog.
