Exit Before the Encore - Hand signed, a 40 x 60 cm mixed-media giclée on canvas, limited to 20 numbered copies signed by LeYack, produced in France and sold directly by the artist, in excellent condition, with a certificate of authenticity.
Description from the seller
Under the theater's bright marquee, the party is in full swing: tuxedos, red gowns, chandeliers and a purple carpet. But she has gone out alone. Ivory sheath, long white gloves, pearl necklace, she looks toward a large cream-colored limousine whose engine is already running, headlights on in the damp night.
She leaves the party before the end, like Cinderella before midnight, or like these heroines of Sunset Boulevard for whom the light is no longer enough. Who is waiting for her in the car? The painting does not say: it only holds the moment just before the door.
The gold of the bulbs behind her, the blue of the street ahead: the whole canvas hinges on this threshold.

About the artist:
LeYack (born 1972) is a contemporary artist whose work blends modern storytelling with pictorial heritage. Drawing inspiration from photography and cinema, he distorts the codes of realism to inject palpable emotional tension. Each work tells a frozen moment, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in the suggested story.
