Description from the seller
The sheets are sold without a frame. The image is not drawn; it is created by cutting and folding the paper in certain areas, it is the play of light and shadow that, striking the paper, generates the figure.
The support is no longer a fixed, inert, mute space; in anticipation of being defined by the addition and action of marks and colors, in order to tell a story that is not its own, that no longer belongs to it. It has shed its conditioning; now it is a void full of everything, waiting to come to life.
Like a man, from the cuts, it lifts its eyelids to enter the world; in the same way, in perpetual motion, the severed paper comes to life, breaking and surpassing canonical space.
The air traverses it and defines it, a play of fullness and emptiness, lights and shadows in continuous becoming, caressing and warming the surface.
