Description from the seller

42 x 29.7 cm A3

a single artwork on 300 g art paper
unframed

2026

Since 2018, Warren Podguszer, known by the pseudonym Wawapod, has immersed himself in the world of Pop Art and street art in Paris, developing a unique style that blends geometry and popular iconography. His work is distinguished by reusing iconic imagery through accumulations of dots, paying homage to art history and to popular figures he admires.

His works often have an abstract first reading that becomes figurative depending on the distance from which you view them. He likes the idea that each person who observes his works does not necessarily see the same thing, but above all he enjoys playing with the observer’s eye.

By diverting certain masterworks, he aims to reacquaint them with the general public and invites them to explore art history in a playful, modern, and democratic way.

Possibility to pick up the artwork in the Île-de-France region.

This work is a unique piece, manually signed on the back by the artist.

Technique: Acrylic painting on paper.

Wawapod is a Parisian artist and street artist who exhibits across the country. His works are shown in several galleries in France and Europe.

Wawapod belongs to the same artistic current as: Jacques Villeglé, Invader, Jef Aérosol, Speedy Graphito, Vhils, Banksy, Mr. Brainwash, Obey, Shepard Fairey, OneMizer, C215, Basquiat, Keith Haring, Andy Warhol, and Jérôme Mesnager.
