The artist Hestela Charbonnier develops a painterly research that moves between the floral world and the figurative dimension, creating a continuous dialogue between nature and human being. Her production ranges from botanically charged compositions full of energy and matter to portraits and figures in which a deep emotional sensitivity emerges.
In the floral paintings, color is the absolute protagonist: dynamic brushstrokes, thick textures, and luminous contrasts transform the flower into a symbol of vitality, transformation, and fragility. The forms expand across the canvas with an instinctive yet conscious gesture, giving life to intense and engaging compositions.
In the figurative works, on the other hand, the artist explores interiority through postures, gazes, and suspended atmospheres. The figures are never simple representations, but become silent narratives, rich in emotion and psychological depth.
A common element to both inquiries is the attention to matter and color as primary expressive tools. Whether it’s a flower in full explosion or a figure immersed in its own thoughts, every work reflects a tension between energy and delicacy.

This work is digitally created and then acrylic paint, abstract shades, and paint splatters are added.

Varnished with a glossy sealant.

Each piece has additions of paint applied with a spatula and spray.
Additionally, some also feature gold leaf and gold powder to make the work unique in its kind; then it is sealed with a final varnish to ensure the colors endure over time and to render the painting more homogeneous and brilliant. It is signed at the bottom right and counter-signed on the back.
