3 bottles: The Macallan Fine Oak 12 Years Old, Triple Cask Matured, 50 cl, 40% ABV, each with original box

A lot of three bottles of the discontinued Macallan Fine Oak 12 Years Old, in the less common 50 cl format. The Fine Oak range belongs to an earlier generation of Macallan and is no longer part of the current range.

Triple Cask maturation

European oak casks seasoned with sherry
American oak casks seasoned with sherry
American oak casks seasoned with bourbon

This gives a style that is somewhat different from the more sherry-focused Macallan expressions, with the distillery’s richness combined with more freshness and notes of vanilla, citrus, dried fruit and oak.
