About the artist:
Kaldea is a French artist who lives in Paris. She has been painting on canvas since the early 2000s. She quickly found a unique style that would evolve over time. In 2011, a professional opportunity in Germany allowed her to paint on larger surfaces, such as containers or cars. She then rapidly moved onto walls, which offered her greater possibilities for artistic expression.
The meeting of cultures and diverse people is, for her, a great richness, an inexhaustible source of inspiration. Since her beginnings in street art, Kaldea has become a key figure in the scene with several participations in international festivals – from London to Bangkok, via Zagreb, Munich or Lisbon – in which she works both on canvas and on building façades.
Her artistic universe is tinted with Asian, ethnic, futuristic and Art Deco influences, which makes it unique. For her, every work must provoke a deep emotion in the spectator, thanks to an original, luminous and profound chromatic theme.
