Reissue of the 19th century of the text of the Danse Macabre printed for the first time in Troyes in 1486. The woodcuts reproduce the original XVth-century xylographs (56 wood engravings). They were copied and reproduced for the first time in 1539 for the edition of Jehan Lecocq and then in 1641 for the Garnier edition. This elegant edition is printed on laid paper.
