Gustav Klimt's "Lady with Fan", his very last portrait, became one of the most expensive European artworks ever sold at auction. Disney artist Tony Fernandez now gives that famous painting a new star: Daisy Duck.

Set against a radiant golden-yellow background, surrounded by exotic birds and delicate floral motifs, Daisy poses with her fan, with all the elegance and confidence of Klimt's Viennese lady, and all the charm and personality of classic Disney animation.

Painted in acrylic with vibrant colours and intricate ornamental detail, the piece captures the luxurious decorative language of Klimt's late period: rich patterns, luminous tones and a delicate balance between figure and ornament.

Presented in a museum-style frame with a black passepartout, the work has real gallery presence, a striking centrepiece for any Disney or fine-art collection.
