Cupboard - Oak - Antique Oak

Beautiful antique Biedermeier linen cabinet, crafted from solid oak in the 19th century (likely between 1840 and 1880). This cabinet is a paragon of traditional craftsmanship, with artisanal wood joints such as the splendid handmade dovetail joints on the plinth, highlighting the high quality and authenticity of the cabinetmaking. The cabinet features two large paneled doors with the original, elegant bronze or brass hardware and the accompanying key. At the bottom there are two convenient drawers with wooden knobs. The interior is fitted with a functional shelving system that remains in very neat and clean condition. The oak wood has a beautiful, calm figuring and is finished with a relatively light, natural wax finish, which accentuates the natural beauty of the wood.
