Description from the seller
Sublime antique ring in 18K gold adorned with a sapphire and natural diamonds
No reserve price
1730s-1850s? (This line in original is not explicit; keep as 'Years 1850')
Dimensions of the daisy cluster 11 mm x 10 mm
It is centered by a luminous deep blue sapphire: a silky, unusually saturated color that commands attention
At first glance one can tell this sapphire has something "extra" about it, that it is energetically charged.
Oval cut facets, which reflect light successively like mirrors
Dimensions 6.5 mm x 5 mm
Carat weight 0.85 carats
Very beautiful crystal containing lovely crystal inclusions and bright wisps in the form of butterfly wings
Magmatic origin (Myanmar or Siam considering the age of this beautiful piece)
The sapphire is highlighted by a crown consisting of 12 old-mine-cut diamonds with high table
Average diameter 2 mm
Count of each 0.03 carats
Cumulative diamond weight about 0.36 carats
Quality mixed, as is common in the 19th century for pavé diamonds, estimated G-H-I/VS-SI
Elegant pierced coronet with tapered prongs, in the shape of swallow tails
Back cloisonné
For better visualization, the photo of the ring worn has been generated by AI. The original close-up photographs, unretouched, provide a real glimpse of its condition.
Luxurious ring with a sleek design full of charm
Finger size 52 - 6 - 16.6 mm
Weight 3.79 g
Owl hallmark for 18K gold
Fast and careful shipping by insured tracked parcel
