An 18k yellow gold rosette ring with a central natural oval ruby (7x6 mm) and a halo of 12 diamonds, total weight 4.24 g, size 54, in good used condition with no laboratory report.
Description from the seller
Capture the essence of classical romanticism with this dazzling rosette-style ring, a timeless jewel forged in 18-karat yellow gold. Designed to enamor and be the center of every gaze, this piece blends the warmth of gold, the fire of a central ruby, and the hypnotic glitter of a diamond halo.
The Rosette Design Legacy
The rosette (or cluster) style has its roots in European courts of the Georgian and Victorian eras, and it solidified in the 20th century as the preferred design for royal and high aristocracy engagement rings. Its architectural brilliance lies in the frame of light: the surround of colorless diamonds acts as a natural reflector, creating an optical illusion, visually expanding the jewel and enhancing the color of the central gem.
This piece in particular features a spectacular pierced gallery in the shape of an elevated wire basket, a goldsmithing technique designed so that light passes through the ruby pavilion from all angles, igniting its intense raspberry-red hue.
Main Gem: A vibrant natural oval-cut ruby in a deep, rich dark red color, 7mm x 6mm
Accent Gems: A perimeter surround of 12 brilliant-cut diamonds, individually set in strong gold prongs to maximize exposure to light, 2mm x 2mm
Total Weight: 4.24 grams, evidencing a solid and high-quality setting.
JPEG
Ring Size: European size 14 (UK J 1/2, US 8), corresponding to an inner diameter of approximately 17 mm to 17.2 mm.
JPEG
Condition: The structural prongs protecting the stones are intact and secure. The polished gold band shows some signs of use in keeping with its history.
The lot will be prepared with maximum care at the facilities of Tesoros y Subastas in Toledo, shipping in an elegant jewelry case by urgent courier, with tracking number and all-risk insurance to guarantee flawless delivery.
Important notice about measurements and returns:
We kindly ask bidders to carefully review the exact dimensions indicated in the description and pay special attention to the photographs where the piece is shown next to a millimeter scale.
