Statue, Apostel Petrus - 34 cm - Wood - 1960

A large hand-carved holy figure of the Apostle Peter (St. Peter).
In his right hand he carries a large key as a symbol of the key to the Kingdom of Heaven.
His left hand he holds up in a blessing gesture.

Traditional craftsmanship, a classic example of religious art and presumably handmade in Spain in the 1960s from a single piece of hardwood.

The condition is age-appropriate good.
