Caliendo Gianluca " Linfame21 " - Riflessi Urbani xxl

A vibrant and dynamic work that reinterprets the urban landscape through bold abstraction and a savvy use of color.
Composition and Subject:
The painting presents an abstract city skyline where vertical structures—evocative of skyscrapers or stylized tree trunks—rise centrally with predominant tones of white, silver, and black. The lower part of the piece transforms the supporting plane into a mirror of water or a reflective surface, charged with bright yellow pigment and energetic.
Palette:
The power of the work lies in the high-impact color contrast. The background is divided into fields of intense color: a vivid red in the upper right, balanced by shades of deep blue and teal on the left, extending to touches of fuchsia and purple in the lower part. This contrast between warm and cool tones gives a strong emotional and expressive charge.
Technique and Style:
The use of a spatula or thick brushstrokes (impasto effect) lends materiality and visual texture to the canvas. The black, jagged strokes on the white volumes create rhythm and movement, simulating window light or the effect of urban decay and nature merging with the city.
