Nice stoneware bearded-man jug in a pear-shaped form. The body with 3 medallions containing various family and/or alliance crests. Above it, the cylindrical neck with ribbed relief decoration. 

Late 16th century. In the book Bearded-men Jugs, Stoneware 1200-1950, p. 247, 06.144, a similar jug is illustrated. 

Poor condition, handle missing. This is a restored surface find.

Fraaie steengoed baardmankruik in een peervormige model. De buik met 3 medaillons waarin diverse familie- en/of alliantiewapens. Daarboven de cilindrische hals met geribd reliëf decoratie. 

Eind 16e eeuw. In het boek Baardmankruiken, Steengoed 1200-1950, p. 247, 06.144, staat een vergelijkbare kruik afgebeeld.

Slechte staat, greep missend. Het betreft hier een gerestaureerde bodemvondst.
