Le Yack, Tracks Towards the Light - 100% Handmade!, an oil painting on canvas, 60 × 60 cm, original edition, dated 2023, signed by the artist, made in France and sold directly from the artist, in good condition.
Description from the seller
Original oil painting on canvas. Unique work. Canvas entirely handmade. 60 x 60 cm. Signed by the artist. Certificate. (The interior image is an AI visualization provided for indicative purposes.)
On a slope of snow, a skier in a dark suit descends with assured steps. The pines stand out against the deep blue of the sky, and the distant ridges glow with gold and pink under the slanting sun. Behind her, a fine trace winds through the snow, like a path already laid down.
The painting captures that hour when the mountain lights up before fading away. The blue shadows fall in long bands on the bright snow, and each trace seems to want to reach the light. One thinks of the Alpine landscapes of Ferdinand Hodler, where the mountain is a presence rather than a backdrop.
Delivery information: The canvas is shipped rolled without a frame, carefully protected, placed in a reinforced rigid tube. This shipping method guarantees optimal protection of the artwork during transport. The buyer can have the canvas mounted on a frame by a local framer according to their presentation preferences.
