Materials used:
Artfix 440g cotton canvas manufactured in France.
Ultra-fine and flexible acrylic paints.
Artist information:
Originating from southern Finistère, Frédéric CADIOU (he signs his paintings with the knife as “Fred”) draws inspiration from Breton landscapes that is deeply rooted in light and the horizon.
His works capture suspended moments where nature dialogues with human perception.
Projected shadows, elongated lines, pared-down compositions: each painting reveals a subtle tension between depth and minimalism.
Through a mastered palette and pronounced contrasts, the artist creates calm, almost meditative atmospheres.
The gaze is guided toward the horizon, between silence, space and contemplation.
A painting where light structures the landscape and where shadow becomes language.
Akoun appraisal (July 2026): €1,350 for a 15P format (65 × 50 cm).
