Description from the seller

Paolo Contin
La Danza dei Gabbiani
" A journey between sky and sea, where blue becomes motion and freedom. The bursts of color dance like seagulls in the wind, tracing light and spontaneous paths on a structure of deep forms and tones.
An artwork that evokes the energy of the sea, the beauty of the horizon and the poetry of the moment, capable of bringing into modern spaces a sensation of space, light and vitality"
Acrylic on canvas - 100 x 100 x 0.1 cm
Certificate of authenticity with date and authentic signature on the back of the canvas.
The painting will be shipped rolled inside a sturdy cardboard tube.

PAOLO CONTIN has developed his personal artistic path for over twenty-five years, in constant evolution. Trained in design and active since 1980 in the fashion world, he transfers to painting a particular sensitivity to color, form and compositional balance.

Since 1999 he has exhibited his works, and in 2002 held his first solo exhibition in Padua. This was followed by numerous exhibitions in Italy and abroad, with presence in Copenhagen, Munich, Paris, Brussels, Istanbul, Buenos Aires and Sydney.

Paolo Contin’s artistic journey is also documented by the presence in the Catalogue of the "Arte Mondadori" with related price listings. Over the years his works have also been published in Arte Mondadori magazine and in numerous catalogs and volumes produced for solo shows and major Art Fairs, some of which were published with support from the Italian Cultural Institute.

He was also among the founding members of "Tostart", an artistic association born from the meeting of ten Venetian artists and active until the pandemic period.

An eclectic and independent artist, Contin has built over the years a recognizable language, distant from belonging to a single school or trend. His research traverses geometric abstraction, material and gestural painting, alternating rigor and expressive freedom. Lines, fields, geometric shapes and intense chromatic relationships become elements of a vocabulary through which he investigates balance, movement and emotion.

Experimentation also extends to sculpture and wood, with works built through the layering of geometric elements, confirming a research that goes beyond the boundaries of painting alone.
His work continues to evolve today without preset formulas: every work is born from the will to preserve freedom, identity and expressive authenticity.
