A porcelain vase from China in the Qing Dynasty style (1644–1911), titled Blue-and-White Scrolling Lotus Vase, original/official and in good condition, height about 21 cm.
Description from the seller
Description
Elegantly proportioned vase of classic baluster form — with flared neck banded by pointed leaf lappets, broad smoothly rounded shoulder, and gracefully tapering body to a neat foot ring. The exterior is freely and vigorously painted in rich, deep underglaze blue with an undulating continuous band of scrolling lotus: a central prominent bloom anchors the design, surrounded by curling tendrils, stylised foliage and secondary flowers that flow harmoniously around the vessel. The brushwork is fluid and assured, the tone well-saturated with subtle flecking characteristic of hand-painted decoration. A timeless and graceful decorative piece.
Dimensions:
Height: approx. 21 cm
Condition
Gentle, even surface wear consistent with age and careful use;
No chips, cracks, hairlines, restoration or enamel loss observed;
Blue pigment remains vivid and well-preserved; glaze smooth and bright throughout;
Overall in excellent, intact and well-kept condition.
