Porcelain Blue-and-White Figural Narrative Vase from China, 20th century dynastic style, tall bottle form with an elongated neck and a globe body, about 37 cm high, original/official in good condition with minor inherent firing imperfections and glaze specks.
Description from the seller
Description
An impressive, tall vase of elegant bottle form — with a gracefully elongated tapering neck rising to a flared rim, and a smoothly rounded, substantial globe body resting on a neatly finished foot. The neck is delicately decorated with stylised palm leaves, geometric emblems and dot motifs in crisp underglaze blue. A continuous, richly detailed narrative scene unfolds across the body: historical figures in traditional robes, attendants, an ornate carriage and ceremonial parasol set within a willow-fringed garden landscape — rendered with fluid, expressive brushwork and masterful tonal depth, bringing the story to vivid life. A commanding and finely painted piece of considerable presence.
Dimensions:
Height: approx. 37 cm
Condition
Minor inherent firing imperfections and glaze specks, produced during manufacture and not later damage;
Gentle, even surface wear consistent with age and careful use;
No chips, cracks, hairlines, restoration or significant enamel loss observed;
Blue pigment remains deep, vibrant and well-preserved; glaze smooth and bright throughout;
Overall in honest, intact and well-kept used condition.
