A classical, highly detailed opulent still life in the style of old masters, executed in oil on canvas. The motif shows a rich arrangement of a gold-lidded goblet, grapes, apples, a pear, and an ornate jewelry box with lion's feet. From the jewelry box protrudes a document labeled ‚Munich‘. The work is signed bottom right with ‚G. Rumpel‘.
