This complex oil-on-canvas composition sits within contemporary figurative art with nuances of genre realism and narrative classicism, standing out for meticulous attention to spatial detail, architectural perspective, and the treatment of natural light. The artist articulates a collaborative scene set in a courtyard or inner courtyard surrounded by exposed brick walls and greenery, where multiple women in timeless attire and canes share a moment of leisure, contemplation, and rest beside a stone fountain. Through the contrast between the greenish tones of the lawn, the warm clay of the structures, and the fluidity of white and colored garments, the work seeks to express the serenity of communal life, the pause of time, and shared intimacy in a protected space, celebrating everyday life, camaraderie, and introspection from a poetic and nostalgic perspective.
Seller's Story
Our project emerges as an online art gallery dedicated to promoting and representing young Cuban and Spanish artists with a promising trajectory and a distinctive, authentic, and recognizable visual language. Our project is born with the aim of bridging emerging artistic creation and international collecting.
We curate a carefully chosen selection of works that ranges from modern and contemporary styles to reinterpretations of classical art and avant-garde propositions, always prioritizing quality, expressive power, and the artistic identity of each creator. Each represented artist develops a unique style, which gives our works character, personality, and real artistic value.
All the works we offer are original, created with traditional and mixed techniques, and selected under curatorial criteria that ensure authenticity, aesthetic coherence, and excellence in execution. Our aim is to provide collectors and art lovers with pieces with soul, capable of engaging both with contemporary spaces and with more classical collections.
Based in Spain, Kiri Art Studio operates internationally, committed to professional service, close communication, and a safe and transparent purchasing experience. We believe in art as both a cultural and emotional investment, and in guiding the buyer as a fundamental part of the artistic process.
