Description from the seller
Steinfeld & Söhne – Tribute to Ferrari – Zenith Rattrapante Split-Seconds Movement
An extraordinary custom-made mariage watch by Steinfeld & Söhne, created as a bold Tribute to Ferrari and powered by a rare historic Zenith rattrapante split-seconds chronograph movement. This is not an ordinary wristwatch, but a highly distinctive collector’s piece built around one of the most fascinating complications in classical watchmaking.
The watch features an imposing 48 mm stainless steel case, giving the piece a powerful and luxurious wrist presence. The red dial immediately recalls the spirit of Italian racing heritage, with elegant applied Arabic numerals, blued hands, twin sub-dials and the inscription “Tribute to Ferrari”. The dial also bears “Zenith Mouvement”, referring to the rare movement inside.
The open case back reveals the impressive mechanical architecture of the vintage Zenith rattrapante chronograph movement. The split-seconds function, also known as rattrapante, allows the timing of intermediate events by using two central chronograph seconds hands, one of the most prestigious and technically demanding chronograph complications.
This watch is stated to be part of an extremely small custom production of only 6 pieces, making it a rare and unusual collector’s object.

Story & Heritage
The concept of a mariage watch is to give new life to an important historical movement by placing it into a modern wristwatch case. In this example, the result is especially spectacular: a large-format custom piece built around a rare Zenith rattrapante chronograph movement.
Zenith is one of the great names in Swiss horology, long admired for precision chronographs and high-grade mechanical movements. A rattrapante, or split-seconds chronograph, is among the most complex chronograph mechanisms, traditionally reserved for serious timing instruments and high-level watchmaking.
The Ferrari inspiration gives the watch an emotional and sporting character. The red dial, blued hands, chronograph layout and racing theme create a strong connection between mechanical watchmaking and motorsport passion. It is a piece made not only to tell time, but to celebrate speed, engineering and exclusivity.
A rare, imposing and highly collectible custom-made chronograph, combining a historic Zenith split-seconds movement with a dramatic Ferrari-inspired design.
