Candleholder (2) - Brass - Pair of antique religious candlesticks - 60 cm

Splendid and elegant pair of antique religious candelabra of ecclesiastical origin (from an altar), finely crafted in chased bronze and subsequently tastefully adapted as table lamps / bedside lamps.
The original candelabra feature a classic, slender design with clear Neoclassical inspiration. The central shaft is characterized by a richly fluted and tapered column, resting on a solid triangular-section base, finely decorated with geometric reliefs and sacred motifs. The base is supported by three distinctive curved and shaped feet.
Details of the transformation:
The adaptation into table lamps was achieved by inserting at the top a fake-candle structure (with wax-drip effect details), which hides the electrical socket. This intervention allows uniting the timeless charm of religious antiquities with the functionality of a modern and exclusive indoor furniture accessory.
• Material: brass/ancient metal alloy
• Era of the candelabra: Late 19th Century
• Condition: Good overall condition consistent with age and use. They display a beautiful natural patina of time on the metal surface that attests to authenticity. The electrical system has been added subsequently (a wiring check before use is recommended to ensure compliance with local standards). The bases rest on two included circular protective supports.
