Aga Koncka - „Contemplatio”

Aga Koncka – "Contemplatio" – A unique sculpture in ceramic, wood, and steel

Description:
We are proud to present "Contemplatio," an extraordinary, deeply mystical, and entirely unique contemporary sculpture by the acclaimed artist Aga Koncka (Agnieszka Koncka).
This work serves as a profound exploration of human spirituality, sensitivity, and sacred symbolism.

Artistic Vision:
The sculpture intriguingly blends figurative realism with timeless symbolism.
At its center is a meticulously crafted ceramic head, tilted upward in a gesture of quiet contemplation.
The delicate, emotionally expressive face contrasts sharply with a geometric wooden cross positioned behind it, which functions as a kind of halo.
Subtle details representing miniature figures are integrated into the arms of the cross.
The entire piece is mounted on a minimalist steel rod, anchored by a stable metal base.

Materials and Craftsmanship:
• Head: Hand-sculpted ceramic, decorated with underglaze and finished with a satin glaze.
• Cross: Patinated wood featuring graphic ornamentation.
• Base: Raw steel, providing a modern contrast and complete stability.
