Giovanni Battaglin (Marostica, July 22, 1951) is a former Italian cyclist who was known as a strong climber. He won in 1981 both the Giro d'Italia 1981 and that of Spain. Remarkably, there were only 3 days between these two tours. In the Tour de France and the Tour de Suisse he won the mountains classification. Battaglin was a professional cyclist from 1973 to 1984.
