AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

The Conductor – Portrait of Teodor Currentzis

A portrait of conductor Teodor Currentzis, whose extraordinary stage presence and unmistakable expression are at the center of this work.

The face emerges from the bright, nearly untouched paper surfaces. The intense gaze, the distinctive features and the restrained representation give the portrait an immediate presence.

With ink and a few restrained gray tones, the depiction focuses on the essential: the person, his expression and his personality.

The open surfaces and the partially dissolved contours place the portrait between precise observation and free interpretation.

Original drawing, ink on paper, 62 × 90 cm.

About me:
"My painting moves at the border between figuration and abstraction - a tense dialogue of expressive gesture, intense color worlds and intuitive dynamics.
Inspired by the energy of abstract expressionism, which moves between body and dissolution, chaos and harmony."
Each work is a process of questioning and rediscovery:
Lines break through surfaces.
Figures appear and disappear.
An emotionally charged dance between control and letting go."
