Strange Dust - Nightmares 1 (2019)

Original work created on a skateboard deck by Strange Dust, illustrator and tattooist.

Created in 2019 for the exhibition Skate Station 002 • Inking Board, held in Lyon, this unique piece testifies to the artist's dark, organic, and fantastical universe.

The work depicts a disturbing multi-eyed creature, whose forms seem to merge with living matter. The drawing is distinguished by the finesse of its details, textures, and its monochrome treatment, revealing the natural wood of the board.

Made with graphite pencils, this creation transforms an emblematic object of skate culture into a true work of art.
