There are heroes who traverse generations without ever aging. Goldorak is one of them.
With Chrono Tsunami, SKE makes the mythical robot of our childhood rise above a raging ocean.
The red sun, bursts of blue and waves inspired by Japanese prints give this encounter
an almost cinematic intensity. In the center, a Tissot watch becomes the anchor point of the
composition: a contemporary horological object facing a giant that seems to challenge time.
Everything responds to one another. The deep blue of the dial converses with that of the waves; the mechanical lines of
Goldorak meet the precision of the watch; the force of pop art blends with the energy of street art and with
Japanese visual heritage. The icon is immediately recognizable, yet rediscovered in a universe that
belongs only to SKE.
This work speaks to those who grew up with Actarus, as well as to collectors sensitive to
unexpected crossovers between popular culture, design, and watchmaking. It does not merely evoke a memory: it gives it a new place in the present.
Chrono Tsunami is designed for those who love owning a piece that tells a story, beyond its visual impact. A fragment of nostalgia, a bold aesthetic, and a meeting that you don’t encounter every day.

• Limited edition of 10 copies
• Printed on premium art paper
• ISO A2 format (59.4x42 cm), easy to frame

- FRAMING TIPS

Your artwork is shipped rolled and protected in a tube.

Upon receipt, remove it gently and lay it flat for 48 to 72 hours to allow it to regain its shape before framing.

ISO formats (A3, A2, A1…) are very easy to frame with standard frames available in DIY or decor stores.

Personally, I use Leroy Merlin aluminum frames: simple, elegant, and affordable, they perfectly showcase the works.

- ARTIST BIO:
SKE is a self-taught French artist and all-rounder who grew up in the 80s/90s culture, inspiring many of his artworks.

He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stencil, graffiti, urban installations, and digital art. His dynamic and expressive compositions, often with double meanings, blend the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.

After an exceptional year in 2025, SKE's market value has risen notably. Winner of the first prize at the Urban Master contest (2023), then elected Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE was selected as "Artist of the Month" in October, and he also benefited from a feature in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition.

His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States, and Asia, strengthening his place on the contemporary art scene. In parallel, SKE has also established himself in the digital art market, a major trend of the past two years, reinforcing the appeal of his creations to collectors.

Icons of popular culture, bold graphics, and texture play define a style now indispensable.

SKE is undoubtedly an artist to follow, to start or enrich a collection with rising value.

Awarded & Renowned Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art

A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY
SKE's work sits in a prestigious lineage. His line carries the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversion of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works build a bridge between eras: they revisit the classics, not hesitating to reinterpret Mona Lisa by Vinci, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or the deconstructed forms of Picasso to confront them with a modern urban aesthetic close to Mr Brainwash or Kaws.

POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA
Drawing from the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons from our childhood. He stages Disney’s universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and Scrooge McDuck’s symbolic greed. The influence of gaming, comics, and graphic novels is omnipresent: from Nintendo and the legendary Game Boy to Pokemon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), and Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.

LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY
In a style that sometimes recalls Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The Dollar symbol sits beside logos of luxury and fashion giants. His paintings capture the “Hype” aesthetic: you’ll encounter sneaker culture (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also incorporates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not to mention mass-consumption icons like Coca-Cola. It is vibrant art with textured finishes reminiscent of Jeff Koons’s glossy surfaces or the facets of Richard Orlinski.

This work is ideal for enriching a collection or adding a dynamic touch to your interior.
