Le Yack, hand-signed giclée on canvas titled Before the Leap, limited edition of 20 copies, dated 2026, 40 × 40 cm, in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
A young man in a red shorts stands at the edge of a white rock, toes dangling over the void, gazing at the turquoise water below. He is at the extreme edge of the frame, at the extreme edge of his decision. The sky is a nocturnal blue, almost violent. A single, massive white cloud occupies the right side of the composition like a silent witness.
Yack captures the moment that precedes it — the suspended instant between decision and action. The microsecond when anything is still possible, when the leap has not yet occurred and fear and desire coexist. The diagonal composition of the rock, the saturated color of the sky, the smallness of the body compared to the immensity of the sea: all contribute to turning this ordinary moment into something heroic.
Le Yack, emerging French pop and street art artist. Alexandre Pelletier, known as Le Yack, was born in 1972 in Tours. During his studies, he joined the École Supérieure d'Art et de Design (ESAD) in Orléans. He is a art director in publishing and on the web. Instagram @leyack45.
