Magnificent mounted head of a kaffir buffalo

Syncerus caffer

Dimensions: 97cm x 107cm x 70cm

Origin & Unique History:
This kaffir buffalo head shoulder mount comes directly from the legendary Ferro Dome (the old Ferro gas holder in the Rotterdam M4H district). The buffalo head was part of the talked-about and exclusive pop-up dinner that began on 16 June 2016.
During this large-scale, acclaimed theater and dance production Courage by choreographer Conny Janssen Danst, the famous TV chef Herman den Blijker provided the gastronomic offering on site. To transform the immense and raw industrial gas holder into a cozy and bold pop-up restaurant, the chef brought his most imposing interior pieces.
