Seiko Sidera Chronometrie Sport – Goodwood 1966 Chronograph – Seiko VK64 Mecha-Quartz. A watch with a sporty yet refined character, in excellent aesthetic condition and perfectly functional.

This model pays homage to the famous Goodwood Motor Circuit and, in particular, to 1966: the last year of its original sporty era and the year in which the last major international competition was held there before the circuit closed to racing.

The dial is rendered in a fascinating British Racing Green, the traditional green associated with British motor racing and the most prestigious English sports cars. An elegant coloring deeply linked to the history of British motoring.

On the green dial stand out two silver-gray sub-dials in contrast. The main hands, applied indices and the large 12 and 6 arabic numerals are finished in gold tones, creating a particularly refined pairing with British Racing Green.

The white outer minute track guarantees excellent legibility, while the stainless steel case, the chronograph pushers and the crown complete the model’s sporty character.

The watch is equipped with the Japanese chronograph movement Seiko/TMI VK64 Mecha-Quartz, part of the Premium Chronograph VK series.

This technology combines the precision and reliability of a quartz movement with a mechanical-type chronograph construction. The chronograph central hand advances with a fast, smooth sweep of fractions of a second and, at the end of the measurement, instantly returns to the initial position with the characteristic dry zero-reset typical of mechanical chronographs.

The movement features a central 1/5-second chronograph, minute counter and 24-hour indicator. A solution particularly appreciated because it combines precision, reduced maintenance and a pleasant user experience.
