Description from the seller
- Signed/numbered artwork, supplied with a certificate of authenticity and a unique holographic number.
- Description: Aluminium billet sculpture, 3mm thick, satin finish anti-scratch/UV varnish
- The folded billet stands upright and gives the impression of "floating" — superb effect guaranteed
- Directly from the studio, never exhibited, artwork in perfect condition!
- Number 14/30.
- HAND-FINISHED « Sculpture manufactured for commercial purposes, hand-retouched by artist SKE »
- Since the folds are done by hand, you may notice a slight difference from the presentation photo; this is inherent to the artisanal manufacturing process and makes your copy unique.
- ARTIST BIO:
SKE is a French self-taught, versatile artist who grew up in the 80s/90s culture, inspiring the majority of his artistic works.
He constantly explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stenciling, graffiti, urban installations, and digital art. His dynamic, expressive compositions, often with double meaning, blend the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.
After an exceptional year in 2025, SKE's market value has risen notably. Winner of the first prize in the Urban Master competition (2023), then named Breakthrough of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025).
SKE was selected as "Artist of the Month" by the Opulence gallery in October, and he also benefited from a feature in an American art magazine confirming his international recognition.
His works have already been exhibited in major venues in Europe, the United States, and Asia, consolidating his place on the contemporary art scene. In parallel, SKE has also made a mark in the digital artworks market, a major trend in the last two years, enhancing the appeal of his creations to collectors.
Icons of popular culture, bold graphics, and texture plays define a style that has become indispensable.
SKE is undeniably an artist to follow, to start or enrich a collection with growing value.
Established & Awarded Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art
A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY The work of SKE is part of a prestigious lineage. His linework carries the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversion of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works bridge the eras: they revisit the classics, not hesitating to divert Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to confront them with a modern urban aesthetic close to Mr Brainwash or Kaws.
POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing on the collective imagination, SKE manipulates the icons of our childhood. He stages the Disney universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and the symbolic greed of Scrooge McDuck. The influence of gaming, comics, and graphic novels is omnipresent: from the Nintendo universe and the legendary Game Boy, to Pokémon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), and the Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.
LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style sometimes reminiscent of Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The Dollar symbol sits alongside luxury and fashion logos. His canvases capture the aesthetics of "Hype": you’ll encounter the sneaker universe (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also integrates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not to mention mass consumption icons like Coca-Cola. It is vibrant art, with textured finishes sometimes recalling Jeff Koons’s glossy surfaces or the facets of Richard Orlinski.
This artwork is ideal for enriching a collection or adding a dynamic touch to your living space.
