Masini Daniele - Marea

The figure seems suspended in an undefined space, where time loses its substance and gives rise to a profoundly emotional dimension.
The cool tones of the background converse with the warm tones of the flesh and with the vibrant red that runs through the composition like an energetic stream, a symbol of life, transformation and memory.
The work does not depict the sea in a descriptive sense, but interprets its deepest essence: the continual changing of inner states, the tension between fragility and resilience, between abandonment and rebirth.
The shape of the body, wrapped in itself, evokes the idea of protection and at the same time metamorphosis, as if the human being were overwhelmed and shaped by its own emotional currents.
