Marco Valeri (1951) - Case con portico

Marco Valeri (Rome, 1951), Italian painter, sculptor and draftsman. He paints with oil exclusively using a spatula. He has held solo and group exhibitions, has received several recognitions, and some art critics have written about him.

"Case con portico", oil on canvas, 2005. A view of a Mediterranean village with yellow and ochre houses, terracotta-tiled roofs, a flowering staircase and an arch covered with flowers under an intensely blue sky. The color is laid with a spatula with strong tactile thickness, clearly visible even in the photo.

Signature: oil signature at the bottom right.
On the back: certificate of guarantee "original oil painting" with title, year, size, signature and artist’s stamps ("Marco Valeri – painter, sculptor, draftsman – Rome"). On the canvas there is also the autograph declaration "This painting was executed by me", signed and dated 2005.

Provenance: private collection, Rome.

Conditions: excellent. Color intact, no losses or cracks. On the back, normal signs of aging on the frame’s closing paper.
