Description of the Work
Through this piece, I have sought to immortalize the absolute peace and the unconditional well-being experienced by an animal, serenity and elegance. By focusing the framing on the face of a chihuahua in a nearly meditative pose, the intention is to connect with the viewer’s sensitivity, conveying the deep emotional bond that unites us with animals.
With meticulous treatment of soft light and the textures of the fur, the work highlights the dog’s contemplative posture with half-closed eyes, tilting the face toward the light in a moment of pure serenity and rest. The warm tones of the fur, contrasted with the earthy, atmospheric green background, create an atmosphere wrapped in calm, dignity, and vulnerability.
An ideal piece for collectors of contemporary figurative art or dog breed enthusiasts seeking to add distinction, elegance, and a naturalistic emotional bond to their space.
Quality of Materials:
Pigments: High-end Italian Maimeri oils, formulated with high pigment density and pure oils that do not yellow, guaranteeing excellent lightfastness and gallery-level durability.
Support: Medium-fine textured canvas-clad panel, providing a durable base with a subtle texture that enhances the brushwork.
Palette: A limited palette of earth tones and neutrals, ensuring timeless, elegant, and clean chromatic harmony in any decorative setting.
