The original red publishers' binding is present. The binding as a whole is in reasonable condition, with visible signs of use and wear. One portion of the bookbinding, corresponding to about five pages, is partially loose (see photo). The binding as a whole is still solid and in good general condition. The pages show foxing (brown age spots) and aging discoloration.

Uitvoering: Gebonden uitgave met originele rode linnen uitgeversband, paginarand versierd met goudsnede.

De originele rode uitgeversband is aanwezig. De band verkeert als geheel in redelijke conditie, met zichtbare gebruikssporen en slijtage. Eén gedeelte van de boekbinding, overeenkomend met ongeveer vijf pagina's, zit gedeeltelijk los (zie foto). De band als geheel is echter nog stevig en in goede algemene staat. De pagina's vertonen foxing (bruine ouderdomsvlekjes) en ouderdomsverkleuring.
